[D6]man with the fool grin is [Emi/D]keeping perfectly still, But 
[Emi7]nobody wants to [A]know him, [D6]they can see that he's just [Hmi]a fool
and [Emi7]he never gives an [A]answer.

 But the [Dmi]fool [Bb/D]on the hill [Dm]sees the sun [Bb/D]going down and 
 the [C]eyes in his head see the world [Dm] spinning [Dmi7]round  [D6]

W[D6]ell on the way head[Emi/D] in a cloud,
th[D6]e man of thousand voices talking perf[Emi/D]ectly loud.
But no[Em]body ever hear[A]s him, or the sound h[D6]e appears to m[Hm]ake
and h[Em7]e never seems to noti[A]ce.

 But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down and the
 eyes in his head see the world spinning round

H[Emi7]e never listens to [A]them he knows [D6]that they're fools[Hm]
